EAST MILLINOCKET
LINDA ALMA (FLEMING) TIBBITTS

Linda Alma (Fleming) Tibbitts, 62, died June 12, 2003, at a Lincoln hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born in Lincoln on October 4, 1940, the daughter of the late Lindley and Hilma (York) Fleming.

Following her graduation from Lee Academy, Linda attended Husson College.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church in East Millinocket and an active member of the Women’s Fellowship.

She enjoyed knitting, rug hooking, reading, and going for drives. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Linda is survived by her husband, Donald C. Tibbitts of East Millinocket; four children, Terri Priest and her husband, Jeffrey, of Lincoln, Donald M. Tibbitts, Catherine Hunter, both of East Millinocket, and Liza Tibbitts of Lisbon; four grandchildren, Crystal, Borello, Michaela Hunter, Megan and Jason Priest; one brother, Dale Fleming of East Millinocket; a special aunt, Alma Butterfield of Clearwater, Florida; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-laws, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, and one brother, Kilby Fleming.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 17 Western Avenue, East Millinocket, from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2003. Funeral services will be held at the First Congregational Church of East Millinocket at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2003, with the Rev. Mark Pilletere officiating. Interment will follow at the East Millinocket Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to the First Congregational Church, PO Box 306, East Millinocket, ME 04430; or to the Katahdin Area Support Group, 10 Field St., Millinocket, ME 04462.
